Week of February 24, 2025

This week we’ve shipped some improvements to working in the tokens table and kept working on bugfixes and stability. If you have any feedback for us, please keep it coming! ❤️

✨ New Features

  • Added a context menu to the tokens table that provides quick access to common token operations such as Edit token, Duplicate token, Delete token. This should make working in the table much more efficient!

  • Tokens can now be moved or copied to different sets.

  • Graph engine now includes a Themes node that returns all theme options of the project.

  • We now have Docs! Updated the documentation link on the dashboard and added a sidebar entry for easier access. Find them over here

🔄 Improvements

  • When removing a user from an organization, we now ask you to confirm.

  • We moved the token type column behind the resolved value column. This now shows the type icon as well as the full type name, which should make it much easier to understand what types you’re looking at and helps with custom token types!

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the type of set could be unselected when creating a new set.

  • We now allow you to delete the last Style Dictionary Config on a project.

  • Fixed an issue regarding page navigation in the API keys page.

  • Fixed erroneous pagination in user's API keys page.

  • Fixed a visual bug that occurred when hovering over certain table cells.

  • Removed unused items "Organizations" and "Notifications" from the account sidebar. We’ll bring this back later.

Companion plugin for Figma

  • We now properly show errors during style dictionary resolution

  • Fixed an issue with creating variables when they should contain references, but instead were created as raw hex values

  • Delete variables now asks you for a confirmation

  • Fixed a small layout issue during the loading screen causing overflow

Tokens Studio for Figma

  • Theme Creation on import: We now automatically create themes when you import your variable collections using the plugin. This makes getting your tokens into Studio much easier!

  • Fixed a bug where a .gitkeep file was created with every GitLab commit

  • Tokens synced from the Tokens Studio Platform now default to the DTCG format

  • Studio users are now automatically set to Pro in the plugin
