New Features & Improvements

Infrastructure & Platform Stability

  • Major Backend Migration Completed: We've been heads-down for the past few months performing a significant infrastructure overhaul to improve performance, scalability, and reliability. This migration was essential groundwork that enables us to ship faster and more confidently going forward—thanks for your patience during this quieter period!

Self-Service Onboarding

  • When you create a new organisation you can now start your own subscriptions, choose plans, and opt into trials without waiting for manual setup.

  • You can now start a trial in Studio, giving you access to Studio for 30 days.

  • Ability to manage plans and billing. We’ve added a Subscription page that lets you configure and see your usage limits and billing details.

Project & Organization Management

  • You can now archive projects! This will help you stay below usage limits of active projects - archived projects can be unarchived anytime.

  • Improved user management for organizations - inviting users got a revamp.

  • New consent dialog ensures users acknowledge mandatory documents before accessing Studio features - consent documents can be accessed from the organisation settings. An activity log lets you track all organisation related activity for auditing.

User management

  • You can now request a data export and delete your account

  • API keys can now be configured with scopes, giving you fine grained control

  • There’s an activity log in your profile letting you see all activity

Graph & Token Set Improvements

  • Fixed Graph Uploads: Resolved issues with graph-based set uploads that were causing failures.

  • Better Empty States: Themes page now shows helpful guidance when no token sets exist, with direct links to create them.

  • New token editing experience: When you edit a token using the Space key, we now show an embedded panel on the right, giving you access to the Relations view as well as the ability to edit token properties - all while being able to interact with the rest of the table.

Various Updates

  • Enhanced project name validation to be more permissive while maintaining filesystem standards—leading spaces are now allowed and automatically trimmed.

  • Fixed checkbox interactions when creating or updating personal access tokens.

  • Improved error displays to handle both GraphQL and regular errors without spamming toast notifications.

  • Added loading states throughout the onboarding flow for better user feedback.

  • Added warning messages for cancelled subscriptions that haven't expired yet.

  • Cleaned up various UI inconsistencies including unwanted scrollbars and heading size issues.

  • Made postal code field properly optional in billing address forms.

  • Better Style Dictionary config error handling.

  • Fixed themes landing page flicker by showing skeleton states until data loads.

  • Upgraded SDK and utilities for improved performance and reliability.
